
The Lady List is looking for volunteers to help with the running of The Lady List.
Volunteer Role: Local event researcher and advertiser
Tasks:
- Researching local support groups/centres, nights out, community, alternative events, news and websites that would be of interest to gay women.
- Adding events to The Lady List calendar
- Advertising in your local area.
- Updating on Twitter and Facebook
Time Commitment: Various
Location: Volunteers can work from home
Skills, Experience and Qualities Required:
- Experience with computers and the Internet.
- Excellent communication skills with people.
- Good writing skills
- If under 18 years of age you must get parental/guardian consent.
General Requirements
- Must have access to the Internet.
Training and Induction:
The volunteer will receive a brief induction to the organisation prior to volunteering and will be given a small manual with general instructions.
Support and Supervision:
There will be email and phone support for any queries. If based in Dublin meet-ups can be arranged to discuss any queries you may have. For those based outside Dublin, meet-ups via Skype can be provided.
