Transgender Support Groups in Ireland
Gender
identity
is the internal feeling of being a man or a woman, boy or girl. For some
people
their gender identity does not match up with the sex assigned to them at
birth.
They may have been born into a female body and feel strongly that they
are a
boy, or vice versa, or feel that they do not fit into either. There are a growing number of organisations and support groups in Ireland to help people with gender identity.
