Gatherings
Many women may find it hard to brave the 'scene' or make new friends but there are women's groups that organise nights out and meet-ups to make you feel welcome.
Running Amach
Running Amach is a great new group for women who idenify as LGBTQ. There are a huge number of events organised. The only limitation is that you must be over 18. This Meet -Up group was established by Maureen who felt there was a real need for creating alternative events for women who just want to "meet new people, develop new
friendships, participate in common interest activiites (the
possibilities are endless), network, share resources, build a sence of community and have a bit of craic!"
