Counselling services for gay women
Some gay women would rather talk to a professional counsellor who has worked with gay women or who are gay themselves. The Lady List wants to provide a comprehensive list of counsellors that would be suitable. If anyone has had good experiences with counsellors, let us know and we can help others. IRIS
Iris is a support group for LGBT people who are suffering from a mental health issue. The support group meets the First Monday of every month at Outhouse 105 Capel Street, D.1. at 6.30 p.m The aim of the group is to provide support in a safe, empathic and confidential space. http://www.irissupport.net/
Facilitator: Fiona Clarke is a qualified counsellor who has been involved with the Dublin Lesbian Line since 2008 and has years of experience helping gay women through councelling.
